Tim Scott and Matt Morrow are at it again. A performance not to miss! After receiving such a warm response from their previous Texas tour the two have decided to pair up again and travel the Lone Star State before heading to the UK for the summer.
Tim and Matt met when a mutual friend and music promoter paired them for their first UK tour two years ago. Armed with Tim Scott's "Lyle Lovett"-like vocals and Matt's finger picking guitar style, the pair combine their hand-crafted songs creating a Texan-Scotsman pairing that has created a lot of buzz.
Texas based Tim Scott is most notably an intriguing songsmith. Each of his songs entail strong storylines and compelling characters. His love for world history is apparent in many of his songs as well as his tongue-in-cheek view of life around him.
Matt Morrow is known across the UK circuit as a master of acoustic finger style. He plays his guitar with such finesse and musical agility that it appears effortless. His songs have a celtic flair accompanied with a feel for roots music that wins him praise on both sides of the pond.
The combination of the pairing draws from folk, americana, celtic and more. It's thru the respect of each others work and precious time spent playing together that they have created their own musical niche. They bring a unique freshness to their audience bouncing between their individually penned songs in turn creating an energetic live show.
“The best part of this musical relationship is that we became instant friends”, Tim says, “I have a friend for life with Matt and I couldn’t be happier that our paths have crossed.”
